Serra Mesa Little League

2025 Spring Season

Spring 2025 Registration is wrapping up! Assessments are complete in our upper divisions and teams are being drafted. If you would still like to join us and don't see your player's age range listed below, please email [email protected].

Serra Mesa Little League welcomes players of all skills and abilities, league ages 4-14 (on or before August 31, 2025), to join us for our Spring season of fun, fitness, and baseball fundamentals.

Serra Mesa Little League recently merged with our neighboring Kearny Mesa Little League. We're exited to join forces this Spring to provide a great baseball experience for even more players and families! Welcome Kearny Mesa families!!

Our league runs on volunteers so we're always looking for coaches, managers, umpires, and volunteers for all kinds of other roles!

If you are able to volunteer at least 10 hours of your time to help us provide a fun season of baseball for the kids in our neighborhood, please sign up with your player's registration (this will remove the $40 non-volunteer fee from your balance due.) If you aren't registering a player, you can still sign up to vol
unteer HERE.

Registration Fees:
TBall & Rookies: $200
Caps: $225
Minors, Majors, & Juniors: $250
Late Fee after December 31st: $50

We don't want the cost of registration to be a barrier to any child who wants to play baseball with us. We offer payment plans and have scholarship funds available to those who need it. Submit a Scholarship Application here.

Important Dates:
Assessments (mandatory for league age 7 and older): January 4th & 5th
Practices Begin: Early February
Opening Day Ceremonies: March 1st
Regular Season Games: March 1st - May 17th
Closing Day & Annual Hit-a-thon: May 17th

Games & Practices:
All divisions will have an average of 2 games each week - one on a weekday evening at 5PM and one on Saturday. Games are played at Cabrillo Heights Park or at nearby fields with neighboring Little Leagues. Practices are set by each team coach but are usually 1-2 times per week. Depending on the division level, players will have 50-100 hours of time practicing and playing baseball during the four months of the Spring Season.

Uniforms & Equipment:
Registration covers the costs of a Jersey, Hat, Socks and Belt for each player as well as a team photo and trophy. Players will need to provide their own glove and purchase game day baseball pants (color decided by team). Most players choose to use their own batting helmets and bats but the league will provide these as needed. Cleats are strongly recommended for traction on the dirt infields (any type of plastic/rubber cleats will work).
